How long have you been in business?
The business was founded in 1950 and incorporated in 1972 by Bernard. He had a vision to be the go to place for all tools and parts in the LA Area. The Fire Device Company was the original Home Depot business model before Home Depot came on the scene. In 2023, the business was acquired by Jean and Jeff whom have taken on the traditions of Bernard while working in their own 30+ years of Fire Life Safety expertise. 75+ years in business is a great accomplishment and we just want to continue paying it forward!
Why do you go to great lengths to source real tools & parts?
When Covid happened there was a monumental shift in the tools & parts industry. An extreme amount of fake and cheap parts began to flood the online market from overseas causing much confusion to the markets. They all infiltrated eBay, Temu, Alibaba, and Amazon where it was the most pronounced place to offer these types of products direct to consumers. Many of these fake and cheap parts don't meet local, county, and/or state codes with little to no warranty as well. In basic terms, if the price is to good to be true it most likely is fake and will breakdown.
